- Cost: £32 per student.
- All food and accommodation is included in the price. We are a boarding school which allows us to do this.
- The dress code for the conference is casual.
- Basic stationary and paper will be provided for note taking.
- Accommodation is in rooms of 1, 2 or 3 and school groups are placed together.
- The beds are made so students do not need to bring bedding.
- Accompanying members of staff are responsible for their students and will be placed nearby to them during the night.
- Accompanying members of staff will be required to assist in seminars during the day. Details will be provided on arrival.
- All meals are provided and dietary requirements will been taken into consideration.
Code of Conduct
Worksop College is a boarding school and has a live in community. All visitors are expected to show consideration for the interests of other members of the community and for its general wellbeing. They should also remember that the success of the conference depends on the self-discipline, mutual respect and common sense of its participants.
Visiting students are the responsibility of their own staff members. The codes of conduct of visiting schools are to be adhered to.
Smoking, the use of alcohol and illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
The dress code is smart casual. It is expected that participants will dress appropriately. Some of the corridors and floors around the school are uneven so sensible footwear should be worn.
Behavioural incidents are to be dealt with by the teachers accompanying the school groups involved.
There will be a reception open throughout the conference which will serve as a first port of call for any issues.
Staff accompanying schools groups will be expected to help with the supervision of seminars. Staff will receive information about this on arrival.
The school will close at 22:00; after which time it is expected that the site will be quiet.
